Travel Options for a Puppy

Congrats on getting your forever puppy from us!

The biggest question we get is how do get our cute fur ball. Most of our clients are from out of state and we have some great options for our families.

Travel Options if you’re not in Utah:

 1) Some of our clients drive to Utah and make a trip out of it and come pick up from us.

2) Some clients fly in round trip and take the puppy back as a carry on in the cabin. You would bring an airline approved carrier that is 18 x 11 x 11 or smaller. Amazon Puppy Carrier

Note** If you fly Delta, they require puppies to be 10 weeks. This would require your puppy to stay with us and do two weeks of our Puppy Plus Training Program

3) We also use flight nannies that fly the pup to you on their lap. We work with Puppy Port  who can give us the most affordable flat rate prices. (Ex. $595 to West coast, $695 to Texas, and $795 for Mid West to East Coast). These prices are set if puppy travels two weeks or later from request date. Prices can go up if travel is less than two weeks away.

We will help set up communication with Puppy Port.

Tips for Flying with a Puppy

1- Have an airline approved carrier

2-Bring a few pee pads

3-Don’t feed or water puppy

4-Before flight, play with puppy to wear them out and take the puppy potty to eliminate accidents. In airports, there are Pet areas, we recommend that you take precautions since your puppy isn’t fully vaccinated. You can lay puppy pads down and/or have some disposable booties that will protect their feet.
